In order to ensure the objectives are reached for the young people at Luminary Care Services, we will make sure our service supports the young people by
- Supporting them to have regular and clearly defined contact with the Field Social Worker
- Having appropriate freedom of access to all services in and around the facility
- Offering the opportunity to participate in a wide range of experiences of a social, cultural, recreational and educational nature.
- Supporting young people to maintain and develop relationships which are positive and significant to them
- Allowing access to health services both with us and with external agencies
- Allowing access to learning opportunities and agencies who aid in supporting young people looking at education, training and employment opportunities.
Our staff are committed to providing a warm and caring environment for the young people. We focus on building supportive relationships with the young people which encourages personal development.
We make sure our packages are tailored to the needs of each individual young person, to ensure their transition in to early adult life is seamless.
Luminary Care Services staff are expected to work closely with colleagues and other agencies in order to work towards the objectives set for the young people in their individual learning and development programmes.
